Ethical Trading
Our aim is to run our business in line with our ethical values. This includes fair pay and working conditions for our own staff, fair prices to our customers and only working with suppliers who are aligned with our ethical values. 

Most products we represent are produced in the United States, but some are produced in China and Mexico. All our suppliers, have confirmed to us that they comply with our ethical policy, and that factories in China and Mexico are to the highest standards in terms of working conditions and human rights.
Environment
We take every action possible to reduce waste and to run our business in the most environmentally responsible way possible. One of the decisions we've made is to reuse cardboard boxes where ever possible and encourage our customers to do the same. This means that the boxes containing your order may show clear signs of 'reuse' and most definitely will not carry a 'Collarways' logo. We actually collect used cardboard boxes from other businesses on site and pride ourselves on the fact that we have not bought a new cardboard box in over 3 years. We use paper packing tape which can be recycled with the cardboard box and is also easier to remove. 

If we have to protect your product against damage we will re-use existing styrofoam beads. Any new beads will be made from starch and be bio-degradable. Bubble wrap will either be re-used material or, if new, biodegradable as are our shipping bags.

Environmental Policy

At Collarways we are committed to doing our best to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. On day to day operations, we actively reuse and recycle what goods we can, such as glass, paper, plastic and metal and wherever possible purchase recycled, environmentally friendly products. We operate low voltage lighting, IT equipment is shut down at night to save energy and we purchase our electricity from a 100% green energy provider, Good Energy. We try to keep transport down to a minimum and have opted for a courier collection twice a week only.

We also would like to encourage our customers to re-use and/or recycle the packaging material in which they receive our products.
